when you are 40 weeks, and no baby? Celebrate by taking pictures. Celebrate that you are able to be pregnant, able to experience little feet kicking your ribs and dancing on your bladder, able to feel hiccups and every movement. It really is a miracle that I am experiencing. I am thankful to be able to carry a child. Even though I am over my due date, and it is extremely frustrating. I'm happy that I have this opportunity.
I didn't have a baby over the weekend, but my sweet aunt took some pictures for me. She does a really good job and I had a lot of fun. I had planned on getting pictures like these done but kept putting it off, and then forgetting and then I thought it was too late, but it all worked out. (keep in mind that I'm 40 weeks right now, so I'm HUGE!!)

This one is supposed to be a little more modest, but I don't like it. I think it looks like a smock, or a mumu.
I had so much fun with this frame, it was hard to chose just one.

Oh I love these photos! That is the one thing that I promised myself I would do with my last pregnancy. I was waiting til I was at least 8 months pregnant to take them but my body obviously had other plans for me. So- I am so happy that you took them. Later in life you are going to love those even more and so will your baby! I hope that your baby comes soon!

Kami, you look beautiful. I remember wanting to have the fat suit off of me and just wanting to be myself again, but you have such a fabulous perspective on the situation. You'll love these pictures later. I only have a handful of pictures of my little belly (well, not so little) and I regret not having pictures taken. I promise to stop harassing you with texts about when your baby will be here (although you better call me when it does happen).

You look so good and small for 40 weeks! I love the framed ones. I've seen people use frames like that for baby pics or for a family Christmas card. I wish I would've known about using it in my maternity pics! You look adorable! I hope he comes soon! When will your doc induce you?

awesome pictures Kami good Job! You look good. I went over 3 day with Brenden and I know what you are going through and I realized that no matter what you try to do naturally to help him come out if they are not ready all we need to do is keep being patience and wait for them to let us know that they are ready. I was freaking out because Brenden was measuring big at 39 and a half weeks he was measuring 8lbs 3oz and when he was born he was 8lbs 5oz. I'm glad he came on his own even 3 days late because my midwife was going to induce me at 41 weeks and I was scared to go through the procedure. You'll be ok even if your baby is big hehe :)pamper yourself meanwhile and take care of yourself.
