Chocolate Chip Cookies

I've been told that I make a mean batch of chocolate chip cookies. I've decided to share my recipe.

1 1/2 sticks butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- cream butter and sugars
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp lemon juice
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
3 1/2 cups flour
3-4 chocolate chips (I use ghirardelli milk chocolate chips...mmmmmmm!!)

Bake at 375 for 9 min. (do not over bake)

Enjoy!!

Kami you read my mind. I have been searching for a good cookie receipt. I am excited to try this out. I also promise to save some for Will and not eat them all before he comes home from work. This tends to be a large problem for me.

Ok, I just made these cookies and they're to die for! In fact, I emailed my mom and sister's and told them you had the best recipe for chocolate chip cookies and I forwarded it to them :) Thanks for sharing it! Nothing beats warm homemade cookies. Except now I need to go give most of them away so I'm not tempted. Haha!

Haha!! That is so funny! I'll tell her that you guys love those cookies she used to make for you :). I wonder if she recognized the recipe when I sent it to her?

I was telling my mom that I got a great cookie recipe from you and she went on and on about what a great cook your mom was and that she always liked her recipes. We still have that Ribbon Jello (with all the different colored layers) every Christmas Eve. I remember being at your house once when your mom was making it :). Ah, memories!
